Acceptance

By using Tend, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

What Tend is

Tend delivers contextual reminders ("nudges") to help you be more present for your partner. It is not therapy, counseling, or a substitute for professional help. If you or your partner are in crisis, contact a qualified professional.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and the account holder of the device.

Your account

You're responsible for account security. Don't share your login.

Acceptable use

• Don't use Tend to harass, stalk, or monitor anyone without their consent.
• Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the app or access another user's data.
• Partner linking requires explicit mutual consent.

Subscription

• Billed via Apple or Google; subject to their terms as well as these.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
• Cancel via Apple/Google subscription settings. Refunds are per platform policy.

Content and IP

• Your reflections and milestones are yours.
• The static nudge library, generated nudges, and the app itself are owned by Tend and licensed to you for personal use.

No warranty

Tend is provided "as is." We don't warrant that nudges will always be right, the app will never crash, or that using Tend will improve your relationship.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Tend isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means acceptance. Significant changes will be flagged in-app.
